Strong Saturday For MTEN In Princeton

PRINCETON, N.J.—Members of the University of North Carolina men's tennis team went 3-1 in doubles and 4-4 in singles on Saturday in continuing action at the Farnsworth Invitational at the Lenz Tennis Center.

In doubles play, Tar Heel duos Logan Zapp and Patrick Schoen, Vladislav Melnic and Chris Xu and Anthony Wright and Constantinos Djakouris all won their matches against teams from Rice University.

In singles, Melnic, Djakouris, Wright and Dennis Perumov all emerged victorious in their matches against Owl players.

The Farnsworth Invitational will conclude on Sunday in Princeton. The Tar Heels will host ITA Sectionals on November 7-10 in Chapel Hill at the Chewning Tennis Center.
