Tanguilig & Maltby Fall In NCAA Doubles Quarterfinal

WACO, TEXAS—North Carolina's Carson Tanguilig and Susanna Maltby lost their match in the NCAA Doubles Championship quarterfinals on Friday, ending their run with a loss to Melodie Collard and Elaine Chervinsky of Virginia, 6-0, 0-6, 1-0 (7).
Tanguilig and Maltby earned All-America status on Thursday by virtue of advancing to the quarterfinal round. Tanguilig also joined Theadora Rabman by earning All-America honors in singles earlier in the week. Tanguilig is a five-time All-America.
The Tar Heels have completed their 2024 fall season and now turn their attention to the spring 2025 dual match campaign, which will begin in January.
