The men's team secured a strong sixth-place finish, marking its third consecutive top-10 finish at the NCAA Cross Country Championships. The women's squad delivered an impressive 11th-place finish.Â
"Our men and women both came in and competed tough, especially over the second half of the race... that's how both teams dramatically outperformed their rankings," Head Coach Miltenberg said.
Parker Wolfe (28:50.2) made history as the first male Tar Heel to earn four career All-America honors, achieving his best-ever finish at a national championship with the seventh-place finish.
Fellow senior Ethan Strand (28:53.0) followed closely behind, earning eighth place, making this his third career All-America honor, also marking his highest finish at the NCAA Cross Country Championships.

Parks started in 78th after the first marker and finished in 27th for her best finish at the NCAA Cross Country Championships.Â
Brown shot up from her starting spot of 59th after the first marker and ended in 38th, which was her best finish in the NCAA Cross Country Championships.
