Seeding Announced For ACC Wrestling Championship, Santiago Earns Top Seed

CHARLOTTE, N.C. – The Atlantic Coast Conference has announced seeding and brackets for Sunday's 2024 ACC Wrestling Championship, held inside Carmichael Arena.Â

Tar Heel 157-pounder Sonny Santiago earned the top seed in his respective weight class, with four dual wins in ACC action.

Four Carolina wrestlers earned the third seed: Spencer Moore (125), Jayden Scott (149), Tyler Eischens (174) and Max Shaw (197).

Returning All-Americas Lachlan McNeil (141) and Gavin Kane (184) are seeded fourth, as Jace Palmer (133) and Isaias Estrada (165) earned the fifth seed. In the heavyweight bracket, Cade Lautt was ranked sixth.

For the first time since 2018, the ACC Championships will be held inside Carmichael Arena. Set to begin at 11 AM on Sunday, the first round, semifinals and consolation rounds will be streamed on ACC Network Extra. The finals will air live Sunday evening on ACC Network, beginning at 7 PM.
