McNeil Tabbed NWCA Scholar All-America

MANHEIM, PA. - North Carolina wrestling redshirt-sophomore Lachlan McNeil collected Scholar All-America recognition, the National Wrestling Coaches Association announced.Â
A native of Toronto, Ontario, McNeil earns Scholar All-America honors for the second-straight season as a business administration student.Â
On the mat, the Tar Heel 141-pounder won 24 matches. McNeil became program's 58th All-America wrestler, finishing sixth at the NCAA Championships. In addition, McNeil is the 15th Tar Heel with multiple All-America finishes, and the 12th Carolina wrestler with back-to-back podium finishes.Â
