Peter Fountain shot 67 for the second straight day to grab hold of the individual lead after 36 holes and the University of North Carolina shot the second-best round of the day to move into first place Saturday at the 2024 Atlantic Coast Conference Men's Golf Championship at the Charlotte Country Club.
Fountain, a senior from Raleigh, made five birdies and only one bogey for a 4-under 67. He is 8-under 134 after 36 holes with a one-stroke advantage over Florida State's Frederik Kjettrup and two shots over the Seminoles' Luke Clanton.
