Women's Tennis Lands Seven Individuals On All-ACC Teams

CHAPEL HILL, N.C. – The Atlantic Coast Conference announced their All-ACC teams Friday morning, and seven Tar Heels received postseason honors for their performances on the court in 2024. Carolina led the conference with seven individuals landing on All-ACC teams.
In singles awards, senior's Fiona Crawley and Elizabeth Scotty along with sophomore Reese Brantmeier were named to the First-Team. Anika Yarlagadda was named to the Second-Team and Carson Tanguilig was named to the Third-Team.
In doubles awards, North Carolina represented two of the three All-ACC First Team tandems. The duo of Brantmeier and Scotty and the pair of Crawley and Tanguilig were all named First-Team All-ACC. Teammates Abbey Forbes and Reilly Tran were named to the All-ACC Doubles Third Team.
All-ACC First-Team
Reese Brantmeier, So., Whitewater, Wis. (Singles & Doubles)
• Earned ITA All-American honors in 2024.
• Finished the season with a 20-3 record in singles play and a 23-2 record in doubles action.
• Ended the 2024 season ranked No. 9 in singles.
• Ended the regular season ranked No. 5 in doubles with Elizabeth Scotty.
• Named ACC Doubles Team of the Week with Elizabeth Scotty (Jan. 23).
•Swept the 2023 ITA Fall Championships. Won the Singles title and Doubles title with partner Elizabeth Scotty.
Fiona Crawley, Sr., San Antonio, Texas (Singles & Doubles)
• Earned All-American honors in 2024.
• 2024 Hurd Award winner for women's tennis.
• Named ACC Player of the Week two times.
• Ended the 2024 season ranked No. 15 in singles.
• Ended the regular season ranked No. 6 in doubles with Carson Tanguilig.
• 18-5 record in singles.
• 20-4 record in doubles.
• No. 5 seed at 2024 NCAA Singles Championship.
• Earned a Top-8 seed in the NCAA Doubles Championship with Carson Tanguilig.
• Named CSC Second Team Academic All-America.
Elizabeth Scotty, Sr., Annapolis, Md. (Singles & Doubles)
• Earned All-American honors in 2024.
• Named the 2024 ACC Championship MVP.
• Named ACC Doubles team of the Week two times (w/Reese Brantmeier on Jan. 23 & Carson Tanguilig on Mar. 12)
• Ended the 2024 season ranked No. 18 in singles
• Ended the regular season ranked No. 5 in doubles with Reese Brantmeier, No. 24 with Carson Tanguilig and No. 29 with Anika Yarlagadda
• 15-1 record in singles.
• 37-2 record in doubles.
• Earned a bid to the 2024 NCAA Singles Championship.
• Named CSC First Team Academic All-America.
Carson Tanguilig, So., Alpharetta, Ga. (First Team Doubles & Third Team Singles)
• Earned All-American honors in 2024.
• Named ACC Doubles team of the Week with Elizabeth Scotty on Mar. 12).
• Ended the 2024 season ranked No. 55 in singles.
• Ended the regular season ranked No. 6 in doubles with Fiona Crawley and No. 24 with Elizabeth Scotty.
• 21-9 record in singles.
• 25-5 record in doubles.
• Earned a bid to the 2024 NCAA Singles Championship.
• Earned a Top-8 seed in the NCAA Doubles Championship with Fiona Crawley.

• Earned a bid to the NCAA Doubles tournament with Reilly Tran.
• Ended the 2024 season ranked No. 113 in singles.
• Ended the 2024 season ranked No. 37 in doubles with Reilly Tran.
• Won the doubles consolation tournament at the 2023 ITA Fall Championships with Reilly Tran.
• Finished the season with a 15-10 record in singles play.
• FInished the season with a 23-8 doubles record.
• Ranked as high as No. 41 by the ITA in singles.
• Ranked as high as No. 7 by the ITA in doubles with Reilly Tran.

• Member of the 2024 ACC Championship team.
• Named to the 2024 All-ACC Doubles Third Team with Abbey Forbes.
• Ended the 2024 season ranked No. 63 in singles.
• Ended the regular season ranked No. 37 in doubles with Abbey Forbes.
• 20-5 record in singles.
• 23-9 record in doubles.
