Another Solid Day For Tar Heels On Day 2 Of Kitty Harrison Invitational

CHAPEL HILL, N.C.—Tar Heel players won four of six singles matches on the second day of the 2024 Kitty Harrison Invitational at the Chewning Tennis Center on Saturday morning in Chapel Hill.

Carson Tanguilig, Thea Rabman, Alana Boyce and Susanna Maltby won their singles matches in straight sets for UNC. Maltby and Lindsay Zink won their match in doubles action, 7-5, to start the morning's play.

Due to overnight rain in Chapel Hill, Saturday morning's doubles action moved to the Cone-Kenfield Indoor Courts. The teams moved outdoors for singles play once skies cleared.

Other teams in action in the Kitty Harrison Invitational included Duke, Penn State, Old Dominion, Florida, Virginia and Purdue.
