Darracott Joins Wrestling Program

CHAPEL HILL, N.C. – North Carolina wrestling head coach Rob Koll has announced the addition of Charlie Darracott to the Tar Heels' roster.

Darracott, a former wrestler under Koll at Stanford, joins Carolina as a projected 165-pounder.

During his time at Stanford wrestling at 157 pounds, Darracott collected 45 victories in four seasons, including back-to-back 18-win seasons in 2021-22 and 2022-23.Â

In the classroom, Darracott was a Pac-12 Academic Honor Roll member at Stanford.

A product of Buford, Ga., Darracott was a three-time Georgia state champion and four-time state finalist, helping Buford High School win two consecutive 5A state championships in 2017 and 2018.
