Brantmeier Earns All-America Distinction, Doubles Advance At NCAA Championships

ORLANDO, Fla. – University of North Carolina women's tennis continued singles play in the 2025 NCAA Singles and Doubles Championships while beginning doubles action Wednesday afternoon at the USTA National Campus in Orlando, Fla. Reese Brantmeier highlighted the day with a three-set win in the round of 32. The senior's win earned her All-America distinction while advancing to the round of 16.
In doubles, both pairs of Tar Heels walked away with a win. Brantmeier/Hamilton topped their opponents from Washington before third seeded duo Kajuru/Maltby claimed a dominant win over the Georgia pair.

Carolina is one of just two ACC programs with four singles and two doubles qualifiers this week. The Tar Heels will look to secure their first singles or doubles NCAA Championship Title since 2023 (Fiona Crawley – singles, Fiona Crawley/Carson Tanguilig – doubles).
