Brantmeier Advances To NCAA Final, Qualifying For U.S. Open Singles Playoff

ORLANDO, Fla. – Reese Brantmeier represented the University of North Carolina women's tennis program in the singles semifinals at the 2025 NCAA Singles and Doubles Championships Saturday morning at the USTA National Campus in Orlando, Fla. The senior claimed a convincing 6-3 win in the first set to have the advantage over her opponent from USC. Hossam Salah from USC fought back to even the match at one set apiece. Brantmeier weathered the storm to take the third set in dominant fashion, 6-2.
With Saturday's win, Brantmeier secured her spot in the NCAA Finals on Sunday while also qualifying for the U.S. Open Singles Playoff next summer.
