Brantmeier To Compete In 2025 Master’U BNP Paribas Championship With Team USA

TEMPE, Ariz. – Reese Brantmeier from the University of North Carolina women's tennis program has been selected to compete with Team USA at the 2025 Master'U BNP Paribas Championship in Reims, France Dec. 5-7. The reigning NCAA Singles national champion and ACC Player of the Year will represent the U.S. and Tar Heels alongside five other collegiate tennis players in this year's tournament.
2025 Master'U BNP Paribas Championship
The Master'U BNP Paribas Championship is known as the "World Event of University Tennis" by bringing the top collegiate athletes to compete country versus country in Reims, France. The championship is set for their 18th event that will feature eight nations including Australia, Belgium, France, Germany, Great Britian, Ireland, Switzerland, and the United States.
The U.S. has won the previous five-straight titles and will look to extend their streak to six this year as they've compiled a team of six of the best players across the NCAA. The 2025 Team USA roster includes Samir Banerjee (Stanford), Reese Brantmeier (North Carolina), Valerie Glozman (Stanford), Aidan Kim (Ohio State), Nicolas Kotzen (Columbia), and Luciana Perry (Ohio State). The team will be led by head coach Alison Ojeda from Tennessee women's tennis and Andrew Rueb of Harvard men's tennis.
The matches will include two women's and two men's singles, one women's and one men's doubles, and one mixed doubles match. The country that wins four of the seven matches is crowned the winner to advance in the tournament.
