Wolfe & Strand Will Represent Team USA At XC Worlds

PORTLAND, Ore - Ethan Strand and Parker Wolfe both punched their tickets to the World Athletics Cross Country Championships. The Patterson award winners raced at Glendoveer Golf Course on Saturday, Dec 6.
Wolfe (29:16.4) won his first national title as a professional athlete as he beat out former conference rival Rocky Hanson from Wake Forest over the last stretch of the men's 10k course, winning by eight seconds. Wolfe will race for Team USA in Tallahassee, Florida, on January 10th, 2026. Wolfe will race alongside five other Americans: Ahmed Muhumed (Florida State), Graham Blanks (Harvard), Nico Young (Northern Arizona), Wesley Kiptoo (Iowa State), and Rocky Hanson (Wake Forest)
Strand (5:25.8) will wear red, white, and blue for Team USA in the mixed 4x2k relay. He will race with Wes Porter (Virginia), who placed second, Gracie Morris (TCU), and Sage Hurta-Klecker (Colorado).
Tallahassee marks the third time the United States has hosted the World Athletics Cross Country Championships, and the first since 1992, when the event was held in Boston, Massachusetts.
