Seven ITA All-America Honors For Women's Tennis

Five University of North Carolina players earned a total of All-America honors for the 2024-25 season, the Intercollegiate Tennis Association announced on Tuesday afternoon.Â
Carson Tanguilig and Reese Brantmeier earned the accolade in both singles and doubles. Theadora Rabman was named All-America in singles and Alanis Hamilton and Susanna Maltby grabbed the honor in doubles.
The criteria for ITA All-America singles honors include winning the ITA All-American Championship, advancing to the round of 16 at the NCAA Singles Championship or finishing in the top 20 of the final ITA singles rankings.
All-America recognition is awarded to doubles teams who win the ITA All-American Championship, reach the NCAA Doubles Championship quarterfinals or finish in the top 10 in the final ITA national doubles ratings.
Tanguilig and Rabman both qualified in singles last Fall by reaching the round of 16 at the NCAA Singles Championship in Waco, Texas. Tanguilig and Maltby earned All-America honors in doubles by reaching the quarterfinals of the NCAA Doubles Championship.
Brantmeier finished seventh in the final Spring ITA singles rankings to earn All-America honors in singles, while she and Hamilton's No. 2 national finish won All-America status for the doubles pair.
