Ford Now UNC's First 2-Time First-Team All-America

University of North Carolina senior David Ford is one of 10 players named a 2025 PING first-team All-America by the Golf Coaches Association of America, becoming the first Tar Heel men's golfer to earn first-team All-America honors twice.
Ford was a first-team All-America as a sophomore in 2023. He was a third-team selection in 2022 and 2024, also becoming the first Tar Heel to receive first-, second- or third-team All-America honors in each of his four seasons.
Ford, who won the Haskins Award as the National Player of the Year on Tuesday, is joined on the first team by Josele Ballester (Arizona State), Daniel Bennett (Texas), Luke Clanton (Florida State), Ethan Fang (Oklahoma State), Ben James (Virginia), Jackson Koivun (Auburn), Michael La Sasso (Ole Miss), Preston Stout (Oklahoma State) and Brendan Valdes (Auburn).
