David Ford ACC Men's Golf's Scholar-Athlete Of The Year

The University of North Carolina's David Ford, the 2025 ACC and National Player of the Year, is the Atlantic Coast Conference's Scholar-Athlete of the Year.
Ford is the fifth individual in ACC men's golf history to win both Player of the Year and Scholar-Athlete of the Year in the same season.
Ford is one of six Tar Heels to make the Academic All-ACC Team. Joining Ford are Maxwell Ford, Keaton Vo, Hampton Roberts, Grant Roscich and Sihan Sandhu.
David Ford earned Academic All-ACC honors for the fourth time, and Maxwell Ford made the team for the second time in as many seasons.
To be eligible for the Academic All-ACC Team, student-athletes must have earned a 3.0 grade point average for the previous semester and maintained a 3.0 cumulative GPA over their academic career. In addition, student-athletes must have competed in at least 50 percent of their team's contests.
