Heels Begin Fourth Week Of Fall Ball

Chapel Hill, NC--Â The North Carolina Tar Heels began their fourth week of Fall scrimmages with a Five 1/2 inning scrimmage on Tuesday afternoon at a sweltering Boshamer Stadium.
Offensive Highlights:Â Two players had multiple base hits in the short scrimmage. Erik Paulsen was 2-3 with one RBI and one run scored, while Jake Schaffner was 2-3 with a double and one run scored. Cooper Nicholson had a double for the only other extra base hit.
Pitching Highlights:Â Boston Flannery gave up one earned run in 3.0 innings. Talan Holiday hurled 2.0 scoreless innings while striking out two. Jackson Rose gave up one hit in 2.0 scoreless innings.
The Tar Heels will hold their next scrimmage on Wednesday.
