Swimming & Diving Opens Fall By Hosting Queens On Friday

CHAPEL HILL, N.C. – The North Carolina swimming and diving team will host Queens University of Charlotte at Koury Natatorium Friday at 11 a.m. to open its fall slate of competitions. The dual meet will include a full slate of swimming and diving events for the meet, which is expected to run approximately two hours in length. Fans wishing to attend can park in the Manning Lot adjacent to the natatorium. For those who would like to follow along, all results will be available on the MeetMobile ($) app on your smart devices.
The men's team is coming off a 2024-25 season that saw it equal its top finish at the NCAA meet since 2015 (T-23rd) and its best finish at ACCs since 2016 (Fourth). The women's team placed 17th at the NCAA meet, matching their finish from 2024, and sixth at the conference meet. A full line-up of Tar Heels are expected to compete on Friday including returning All-Americans Ben Delmar, Louis Dramm, Sophia Frei, Lanie Gutch and Mary Macaulay.Â
