XC Finds Conference & National Academic Success

CHARLOTTE/NEW ORLEANS -Â Â UNC cross country saw multiple student athletes earn conference or national all-academic honors. The women's team was also named All-Academic by the U.S. Track & Field and Cross Country Coaches Association, earning a 3.35 GPA.Â
Logan St. John-Kletter was named to both the U.S. Track & Field and Cross Country Coaches Association All-Academic and Atlantic Coast Conference. Vera Sjoberg, Colton Sands, and Tomer Tarragano were also named USTFCCCA All-Academic Athletes. Maddie Gardiner and Aiden Neal were named All-ACC.

In order to qualify for All-Academic distinction, teams must have a cumulative GPA of 3.0 on a 4.0 scale, including the most recent grading period.
In order to qualify for All-Academic distinction, student-athletes must have a cumulative GPA of at least 3.25 on a 4.0 scale and finish in the top-25 (or 10 percent) at the NCAA Regional Championships or as an All-American at the NCAA Championships.Â
ACC:
Academic requirements for selection to the All-ACC Academic Team are a 3.0 grade point average for the previous semester and a 3.0 cumulative average during one's academic career. In addition, student-athletes must compete in either the ACC Championship or NCAA Championship in cross country.
