Women’s Tennis Earns Third Consecutive Sweep, 4-0 Over Cards

CHAPEL HILL, N.C. – No. 4 University of North Carolina women's tennis wrapped up the weekend with a 4-0 sweep over Louisville Sunday afternoon at Chewning Tennis Center. The Tar Heels extend their win streak to nine while remaining undefeated at home this season.
Carolina swept doubles play with three wins. Anna Frey and Oby Kajuru were paired together for the first time and picked up a dominant 6-2 win on court three. Alanis Hamilton and Maddy Zampardo claimed another win for UNC to clinch the doubles point. The Tar Heels and Cardinals played out the third doubles match resulting in a 6-2 win for Tatum Evans and Susanna Maltby.
In singles, no. 7 Oby Kajuru picked up the first win for Carolina in straight sets. No. 111 Theadora Rabman followed with another dominant win for the Tar Heels. No. 93 Anna Frey earned her second win of the weekend clinching the match for UNC.
