Sandhu Shoots Career-Low 65 At Valspar

North Carolina's Sihan Sandhu shot a career-best 6-under-par 65 in the second round and Andrew Riley carded a 66 in the morning round to lead the Tar Heels on day one of the Valspar Collegiate Invitational Monday at the Floridian National Golf Club in Palm City, Fla.
Carolina is 14th after 36 holes at 6 under par, following rounds of 2-under 282 and 4-under 280.
Auburn leads at 30 under par, two strokes ahead of Texas Tech and 10 clear of Texas.
Florida State's Tyler Weaver and Southern California's Jaden Dumdumaya are tied for the individual lead at 11-under 131.
Riley (66-70) is tied for 10th at 6-under 136 and Sandhu (72-65) is a shot back, tied for 19th at 5-under 137.
Grant Roscich (71-68) is tied for 31st at 3-under 139 and Niall Sheils Donegan (69-72) is tied for 45th at 1-under 141.
