Men’s Swimming 200 Free Relay, Dramm Claim All-America Honors

ATLANTA – The University of North Carolina men's swimming 200 free relay and Louis Dramm claimed honorable mention All-America honors on Thursday at the NCAA Championships. The relay of Sean Setzer, Martin Kartavi, Dramm and Nate Hohm set a school record en route to an 11th-place finish, while Dramm placed 15th in the 400 IM.
Setzer opened the free relay with a 19.18 followed by a blazing 18.45 from Kartavi on the second leg. Dramm clocked an 18.85 on the third leg and Hohm brought it home in 18.80. The group scored 12 points for the Heels in finishing 11th.
In the 400 IM, Dramm clocked a 3:40.14 to earn his All-America nod in 15th, while Ben Delmar set a personal best of 3:40 60 to finish 18th and improve his position at No. 2 all-time at UNC in the event. Sebastian Lunak also had a strong swim in the 100 fly, posting a personal-best 45.49 to improve his position at No. 3 all-time at UNC.
The Heels will be back in action on Friday in the 200 breast and the 400 medley relay. Prelims start at 10 a.m. with finals at 6 p.m. All action is available to watch on ESPN+.
