Aer Lingus College Football Classic 2026: Much More Than A Game

The University of North Carolina will host or participate in business, cultural, academic, research, athletic and arts events in Dublin, Ireland, the week leading up to the Aer Lingus College Football Classic, bringing far more than a marquee matchup between Carolina and Texas Christian University on August 29.
Executives, faculty, staff and students from UNC will also visit Ireland to engage with counterparts in meetings across the country in August, highlighting the deep and growing ties between UNC and Ireland.
"One of Carolina's greatest strengths is that we are deeply rooted in North Carolina while remaining connected to the wider world," said UNC Chancellor Lee H. Roberts. "Carolina plays a crucial role in the state's success. The Aer Lingus College Football Classic gives us an opportunity to strengthen international partnerships and accelerate the growth of North Carolina."
Full details of all participating venues and events will be available on the official Aer Lingus College Football Classic app when it launches in early July.
