Seven Tar Heels Named To 2025-26 ACC Academic Honor Roll

CHAPEL HILL, N.C.—Seven members of the Carolina men's tennis team earned distinction as members of the 2025-26 ACC Academic Honor Roll, the Atlantic Coast Conference announced on Friday.
Tar Heels Roan Jones, Nick Mangiapane, Ian Mayew, Oliver Narbut, Kase Schinnerer, Chris Xu and Logan Zapp all netted the honor for their diligent work in the classroom.
Zapp earned the honor for a fifth time and Xu for the second time in two seasons as a Tar Heel. Jones, Mangiapane, Mayew, Narbut and Schinnerer grabbed the accolade for the first time in their careers.
Over 500 Carolina student-athletes were named to the Atlantic Coast Conference 2025-26 Academic Honor Roll, with the league recognizing 7,496 student-athletes league-wide.
A total of 534 Tar Heels were honored, as for the fourth consecutive year UNC had more than 500 student-athletes on the honor roll.
The ACC Academic Honor Roll celebrates student-athletes who participated in a varsity-level sport and registered a grade point average of 3.0 or better for the full academic year. This marks the sixth straight year in which 5,500 ACC student-athletes have achieved honor roll status.
Four student-athletes earned ACC Honor Roll recognition for the fifth straight year, while 54 were honored for the past four academic years.
