Senior Season: Enjoyed a breakout senior season, appearing in 46 games while making 42 starts as the designated player • Earned All-ACC Second Team and NFCA All-Southeast Region Third Team honors • Second on the team in batting average at .374 • Tallied 31 RBI and 43 hits, including seven home runs, the first of her career.
Junior Season: Played in 25 games, starting • Notched six hits and seven RBIs to go along with four walks for an on base percentage of .351.
Sophomore Season: Played in 25 games, starting four as the designated player • Supplied five RBIs as a reliable pinch hitter, tallying five hits and four walks with a .294 on-base percentage.
Freshman Season: Appeared in 32 games and started eight • Tallied eight hits and six RBIs • Recorded a .216 batting average on the year • Came up big for UNC in the Georgia Tech series April 21 with two hits and two RBIs • Pitched two innings in the circle with two strikeouts.
Prep: Two-time Pennsylvania Gatorade Player of the Year her junior and senior seasons • 2011 first-team MaxPreps All-America selection • Three-time first-team Pennsylvania all-state selection • YAIAA Co-Player of the Year as a junior and senior • YAIAA Player of the Year as a freshman and sophomore • Voted three-time team MVP and Offensive Player of the Year • Voted by her peers as the most athletic in her Senior Class.
Personal: Majoring in business • Participates in the Richard A. Baddour Carolina Leadership Academy as part of the Rising Stars program and also serves as a Creed Mentor • Named to UNC Dean's List • Daughter of Roy and Jackie Walker • Born Lauren Maria Walker on March 9 in Columbia, Md. • Her father played baseball at Penn State.
