Wagner spent the Fall 2016 semester studying abroad in the Netherlands. Upon completion of her undergraduate business degree, Wagner rejoined the Tar Heels in Spring 2017 as the team's Director of Operations.

Career Notes: Appeared in 77 career games, making two starts during her sophomore season • Hit .333 with two of her four hits going for extra bases including a 2015 home run • Went 5-for-7 in stolen bases • A dedicated student-athlete, she earned several academic and leadership awards, including being a three-time NFCA All-America Scholar Athlete and being named a UNC Top-10 Scholar-Athlete as a senior.

2016 (Senior): Saw action in 14 games as a senior, with two appearances off the bench in right field • Went 1-for-5 with a double at the plate, scoring two runs and going 1-for-2 on steals • Scored as a pinch runner against Georgetown, then stayed in to hit when the team batted around • Her first base hit of the year was a pinch-hit double at Pitt (3/19) for her first career two-bagger • Pinch ran and scored in the first inning at Charlotte (4/13).

2015 (Junior): Appeared in 29 games, primarily as a pinch runner • Hit the first home run of her career against Virginia (3/28) • Batted .400 over five at-bats, bringing in three runs to go along with eight runs scored.

2014 (Sophomore): Appeared in 23 games, making two starts in the outfield • Continued to prove herself as a pinch runner, scoring on six occasions • Named a 2014 NFCA All-America Scholar Athlete • Participated in Coach for College, a service learning program that brings together US student-athletes and Vietnamese university students to teach academics, sports and life skills at summer camps to children in rural Vietnam.

2013 (Freshman): After graduating a semester early, enrolled at UNC for the spring semester and played 11 games • Posted her first RBI vs. Hampton (2/9) • Reliable pinch runner.

Prep: Graduated from Fox Chapel High School early • Started all three years in varsity softball and basketball • Finished her junior season with a .571 batting average • Named softball and basketball team captain as a junior • Three-time all-section and all-star softball team selection • Member of New Jersey Intensity premier travel softball team • Member of National Honor Society and Spanish National Honor Society • Student Athlete Leadership Academy representative.
