In 2000: Indoor-broke the ACC Championships long jump record… Placed 1st in the long jump at the ACC Championships… Outdoor- Won the long jump in 20-5 at the ACC Championships… Had season-bests in the 100m hurdles (13.57) and the triple jump (40-11 3/4) at the ACC Championships… Triple jump at the ACC Championships earned 3rd place and placed 4th in the 100m hurdles in 13.87…won the long jump (20-8), placed 2nd in the 100m (12.04) and in the 200m (24.22) at the USCTFS in Chapel Hill… Competed at the USC Trojan Invitational and finished 2nd in the long jump with a leap of 20-7 3/4… Earned four medals at the second USCTFS in Chapel Hill, including 1st in the long jump, and triple jump…Placed 2nd in the long jump (20-9) at the Carolina Classic… Won the long jump at the Gatorade Twilight Meet and the Georgia Tech Invitational with leaps of 20-10 and season-best 21-5 1/4, respectively… Competed at the Olympic Trials… Received the Fetzer Scholarship Award.

At UK: Finished sixth in the long jump at the NCAA Championships with a mark of 21-0 ... Set the University of Kentucky freshman and school record in the long jump.
Prep: Athlete of the Year in 1997 ... Maryland state champion in the 100m high hurdles, the long jump and the 300m hurdles in 1997 ... State champion in the 100m hurdles in 1996 ... Also competed in 100m and 400m relays ... Member of the National Honor Society.
