General: A versatile swimmer for the Tar Heels…three-year letter winner for the Tar Heels... earned an NCAA invitation in 1998 in 200 buterfly…specializes in the butterfly and individual medley...also swims backstroke and breaststroke.

1999-2000: At the 2000 ACC Championships, finished sixth in the 400 IM, seventh in the 200 breast with a career best (2:20.68), and then swam the very next event and finished eighth in the 200 fly.

1998-99: At the 1999 ACC Championships, she finished fourth in the 200-yard butterfly, sixth in the 400-yard individual medley and 12th in the 200-yard individual medley.

1997-98: Had a strong freshman year for the Tar Heels...scored 50 points at the ACC Championships...finished second in the 200-yard IM (2:03.56), third in the 400-yard IM (4:18.61) and second in the 200-yard butterfly (2:01.57)...was a All-ACC selection...met NCAA B Qualifying Standards in the 200-yard butterfly, 200-yard IM and the 400-yard IM...her consideration time in the 200 fly earned her a trip to NCAA meet...at the NCAA Championships, she finished 39th in the 200-yard IM (2:04.94), 21st in the 400-yard IM (4:21.64) and 27th in the 200-yard butterfly (2:02.27).

Prep: Graduated from Gardner High School in Gardner, Mass. on June 7, 1997...swam for three years there, specializing in the 200 IM and 100 fly...competed for the Greenwood Memorial Swim Club for 10 years, specializing in the 400 IM and 200 fly....a 1996 U.S. Olympic Trials participant in the 400-meter individual medley...calls swimming in that event her biggest sports thrill...swam on the South Team at 1995 U.S. Olympic Festival in Denver...was coached on that team by UNC head coach Frank Comfort...swam on three Gardner High School teams which won state championships...state record holder in the 200 IM and 500 free...senior national qualifier in 200 IM, 400 IM, 100 fly and 200 fly...named to Boston Globe All-Scholastic Swimming Team and U.S. Swimming Scholastic All-America Team...also member of National Honor Society.
