Jon Fox will begin his second year as an assistant volunteer diving coach for the Carolina diving program. He will also volunteer in the weight room and assist with strength and conditioning for the divers. Fox graduated from UNC in the spring of 2007 with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Exercise and Sports Science and dove for Carolina from 2003-07.

Fox had a very successful diving career while at UNC. In 2006, he qualified for the NCAA Swimming and Diving Championships. He was a four-time ACC finalist and a 4-time NCAA Zone qualifier. In 2006, he was awarded the David F. McInnis Diving Award for most outstanding diver. Fox was also a team captain for the 2006-07 season, the third diver ever chosen as a team captain under Frank Comfort's 30-year tenure.

Fox plans to graduate from the three-year Doctor of Physical Therapy program at UNC in August 2010.
