2019-20: Finished his redshirt senior year with an 18-9 record, qualifying for the NCAA Championships for the third time in his career • Was the team’s season-long starter at 157 pounds • Went 2-1 at ACCs to finish third • Posted a 10-5 dual meet record • Defeated four ranked opponents during the regular season • Began the year with a 5-2 decision over Michigan’s No. 10 Will Lewan • Upset win over Virginia Tech’s No. 18 B.C. LaPrade helped lead Carolina to a road victory over No. 3 Virginia Tech • Won three matches at the 2019 Midlands Championships • Finished third at the Southeast Open
2018-19: Went 20-12 in his redshirt junior season, qualifying for the NCAA Championships as the team’s primary starter at 141 pounds • Went 1-2 at NCAAs • Finished 2-2 at the ACC Championships, finishing fourth • Went 10-5 in duals, with a 2-1 ACC dual record • Defeated Minnesota’s No. 5 Mitch McKee with a pin in sudden victory • Won via fall five times • Won three matches at Cliff Keen Las Vegas, including a decision over Purdue’s No. 19 Nate Limmex • Runner-up at the Hokie Open at 141 pounds
2017-18: Went 15-15 and 7-9 in duals as the team’s starter at 141 pounds • Qualified for the NCAA Championships for the first time in his career • Went 1-2 at ACCs • Won by fall against No. 10 Thomas Thorn of Minnesota on December 29 • Beat Pittsburgh’s Nick Zanetta 4-2 in sudden victory for his second straight ACC dual win • Had three pins on the year.
2016-17: Won titles at the Shorty Hitchcock and the Appalachian Open at 141 pounds during his redshirt year • Also won the National Collegiate Open and placed at the Wolfpack Open and the Southeast Open.
2015-16: Finished 10-11 overall and 1-4 in duals at 133 pounds • Took third place at the Hokie Open with a pin and a tech fall • Also added a major decision at the Southern Scuffle • Finished the year with two pins, two majors and a tech fall.
