2017-18: Went 23-9 in his third season as Carolina’s heavyweight starter • Finished second in the ACC Championships at 285 to qualify for NCAAs • Won five matches at the Hokie Open, including three major decisions • Was 3-0 in ACC competition, including wins against two ranked opponents in Pittsburgh’s Ryan Solomon and Virginia Tech’s Andrew Dunn.

2016-17: Had a breakout season as a redshirt sophomore, finishing 19-16 as the starter at heavyweight • Finished fourth at the ACC Championships and earned a bid to nationals for the first time in his career • Lost a pair of tight decisions at NCAAs • Beat NC State's Mike Kosoy and Virginia's Tyler Love at ACCs • Finished 6-8 in duals • Won four matches at the Southern Scuffle, including a major decision over Stanford's Trevor Rasmussen • Took fifth at the Southeast Open with a major and a pin among his five wins.

2015-16: Finished 8-18 overall and 5-12 in duals as the starter at 285 pounds • Won a pair of matches at the Hokie Open • Had dual match wins over opponents from Binghamton, Army West Point, Old Dominion, Navy and The Citadel, including a sudden victory win over The Citadel's Joe Bexley in the final dual of the year.

2014-15: Finished 6-9 at 285 pounds during his redshirt season • Won three matches at the Newberry Open, including a pin and a major decision • Also had pins at the Mat Town Open and the Wilkes Open.

Prep: Attended River Hill High School in Clarksville, Md. • Went undefeated his junior and senior years and finished with a career record of 162-22 • 2-time State Champion • 4-time NHSCA All-American • 2-time Fargo Greco All-American • FILA Cadet Greco All-American • FILA Junior Greco All-American • Also competed in football, where he was a two-time all-county and second team all-state tight end • Was on the honor roll throughout high school.
