Career Best Times: 23.18 in 50-yard freestyle; 49.80 in 100-yard freestyle; 1:46.52 in 200-yard freestyle; 4:43.99 in 500-yard freestyle.
Long Course Highlights: Competed in back-to-back World University Games in the summers of 2009 and 2011 as a member of the team from Switzerland...the 2009 Games were held in Belgrade, Serbia and the 2011 Games in Shenzhen, China...placed 12th in the 200-meter freestyle and 12th in the 800-meter freestyle at the 2009 World University Games...she placed 21st in the 400-meter freestyle at the 2011 World University Games...also swam on the 800-meter freestyle relay for Switzerland.
2012-13: Co-captain of the squad with fellow senior Katie Nolan.
2011-12: Had an outstanding ACC Championships meet...took fifth place in the 200-yard freestyle in a time of 1:47.42...copped 10th placed in the 500-yard freestyle (4:46.82) and 12th place in the 100-yard freestyle (50.48)...swam the anchor leg on the 800-yard freestyle relay which placed second and the second leg on the 400-yard freestyle relay which notched third place...won the 200 free in dual meet win over Georgia Tech and the 1000 free in dual meet victory over Duke.
2010-11: 2011 NCAA Championships qualifier...scored in a trio of events at the 2011 ACC Championships...swam on UNC's 800-yard freestyle relay team which was the ACC runner-up squad...individually she was eighth in the 500 free at 4:48.08, ninth in the 100 free at 49.80 and 11th in the 200 free at 1:48.25 at the ACC Championships... member of the school record setting 800-yard freestyle relay team.
2009-10 (Freshman): At the 2010 ACC Championships, she placed 14th in the 200 free, 15th in the 500 free and 17th in the 100 free...was named to the 2009-10 ACC Academic Honor Roll.
Prep: Graduated from the Pine Crest School on May 22, 2009... co-captain of her high school swim team as a senior... FHSAA state champion as a freshman, sophomore and junior in the 50, 100 and 200 freestyles and as a member of the 200 free relay ... holds Pine Crest School records in the 50, 100 and 200-yard freestyles and as a member of the 200 and 400 free relays ... 1. The best thing about being a Tar Heel swimmer is having such a large family!
2. My favorite thing about competing for Coach DeSelm is seeing him jump around when you're swimming really fast.
3. Since last year the aspect of my training I've worked on the most is kicking.
4. My best friend on another college swimming team is Andrew Novakoff at Michigan.
5. My greatest strength as a swimmer is keeping myself and others motivated.

1. Away from the pool and academic pursuits I like to spend time relaxing and sleeping.
2. The best movie I've seen recently is 21 Jump Street.
3. If I could compete in another sport at UNC it would be soccer.
