General: An excellent butterflier who was a great addition to the team as a freshman last season...five-time Academic All-America selection in high school...qualified for Olympic Trials in the 200-meter butterfly in 2008.

2009-10 (Freshman): Had an excellent freshman year...had most of her season best times in early season meets against South Carolina, Virginia Tech and East Carolina in the 100 fly, 200 fly and 200 free.

Prep: Graduated from Hopewell High School in Huntersville, N.C. on June 13, 2009...lettered in swimming for four years and soccer for one sea-son...member of the Mecklenburg Aquatic Club for 10 years...high school state champion in the 200-yard freestyle...USA Swimming Scholastic All-America Team choice...member of the 2007-08 National Junior Team...2007-08 Charlotte Observer Girls' Swimmer of the Year honoree...qualified for Olympic Trials in 2008 in the 200-meter butterfly...member of the National Honor Society.

Section #1: Swimming & Diving
1. The best thing about being a Tar Heel swimmer is being classy and getting to wear the color Carolina Blue.
2. My favorite thing about competing for Coach DeSelm is his dedication to the sport of swimming.
3. Since my last competitive season, the aspect of my training I've worked on the most is kicking.
4. My best friend on another college swimming team is Emily Conway of the University of Louisville.
5. My greatest strength as a swimmer is my competitiveness.
Section #2: Hobbies & Interests
1. Away from the pool and academics, I like to spend time sleeping.
2. On a long bus trip, I'd like to watch The Hangover.
3. If I could compete in another sport at UNC it would be soccer.
4. If I received free concert tickets via a radio or Internet promotion I would love to see Justin Bieber.
5. The one interest I have that people would be surprised to know is watching episodes of CSI.
Section #3: Food
1. After a big meet I'd love to see a buffet spread that included Los Pos chips and queso, banana Laffy Taffy and hot wings.
2. My favorite beverage is milk.
3. I'm allowed to enter a room with unlimited snacks, one room has the salty stuff, the other sweet stuff? Which room do I enter and why? I'd break down the wall in between them and eat both kinds of snacks.
4. My favorite food made by a relative is anything made by my Mom.
5. On my birthday, I'd love to be treated by my friends to dinner at Carrabba's.

1. If I possessed the gift of time travel I would go to the set of Dirty Dancing in 1987 so I could dance with Patrick Swayze.
2. My most prized personal possessions are my friends and family.
3. My iTunes library includes 5,000 songs, mostly country and hip hop.
