Career Best Times: 23.04 in 50-yard freestyle; 49.56 in 100-yard freestyle; 55.21 in 100-yard butterfly.
2011-12: Member of scoring team at ACC Championships...swam on Carolina relays that finished second in the 200 medley relay, third in the 400 free relay and fourth in the 200 free relay...she took 16th place in both the 50 free and the 100 free...an outstanding swimmer for UNC during the dual meet season...won four events in the win at Virginia Tech and two against Georgia Tech...also had single event victories in meets against ECU, Clemson, Virginia and Duke...at the 2011 Nike Cup, she won the title in the 100-yard freestyle (50.25) and was on relay teams which took first places in the 200 free relay, 400 medley relay, 200 medley relay and 400 free relay...she captured third place in the 50-yard freestyle (23.47) and 15th place in the 100-yard butterfly (57.16).
Prep: Graduated in 2011 from Mercy High School in Farmington Hills, Mich. ...competed in varsity swimming for four years there, primarily in the 50, 100 and 200 freestyles and 100 fly...captain of team as a senior...swam on teams which won four state high school championships...individually she won four state titles...a two-time individual YMCA national champion...two-time 200-yard freestyle relay YMCA national champion participant...named to the Michigan Dream Team in the 100 free and on 200 and 400 free relay units...Academic All-America honoree...earned honor roll status during eight semesters...Junior Classical League treasurer...Pro-Life Club member.

Section #1: Swimming & Diving
1. The best thing about being a Tar Heel swimmer/diver is getting to wear Carolina blue everywhere.
2. My favorite thing about competing for Coach DeSelm is how honest he can be.
3. Since last year the aspect of my training I've worked on the most is kicking and pulling more efficiently.
4. My best friend on another college swimming/diving team is Allison Vogler at Case Western Reserve.
5. My greatest strength as a swimmer is my desire to win.
Section #2: Hobbies & Interests
1. Away from the pool and academic pursuits I like to spend time keeping up with all my television shows.
2. The best movie I've seen recently is The Lucky One.
3. If I could compete in another sport at UNC it would be beach volleyball (if we have a beach volleyball team?).
4. The music act I'd most like to see in person is Adele...duh.
5. The personal interest I have that might surprise my teammates is that I played saxophone in middle school.
Section #2: Food & Beverage
1. After a big meet, I'd like to eat at a buffet spread that included cheese, potatoes and steak.
2. My favorite beverage is water.
3. My favorite food made by a relative is Grandma's borscht.
4. My favorite place to eat in Chapel Hill is Top of the Hill or McAlister's.
5. My favorite guilty pleasure food wise is ice cream and cheese wontons (not together).

1. If I possessed the gift of time travel I'd like to go to Hollywood in the 1920s.
2. My most prized personal possession is my Kairos cross.
3. If I could go to dinner with a famous person it would be Adele.
4. My dream job is designing menus for Disney World.
