As a Freshman - Recorded 11 victories in doubles, paired most frequently with Marcio Petrone... Brownlow and Petrone started every dual match at #3 doubles during April and May... Upset VCU's Sanchez/Sanchez team 8-3 to help the Tar Heels capture the crucial doubles point in UNC's upset of #16 VCU... Played singles in the fall, advancing to the finals of his flight in the NC State Fall Invitational... Defeated two Wolfpack players, Deval Desai (6-0, 6-0) and Jeff Mullen (2-6, 6-1, 6-4) in the tournament.
