Why the Change? - Rams Club
The reasons for change are straightforward-to exercise fairness, reward loyalty, and recognize the impact of giving.
The primary intent of the new Kenan Stadium Equity Seating Plan is to introduce fairness into the seat selection process. By utilizing the Priority Point System-which rewards Rams Club members for years of membership and lifetime giving-The Rams Club can equitably allocate seating based on loyalty and participation. Seating assignments in Kenan Stadium have begun to fall out of balance with levels of support. This system changes that dynamic.
Additionally, the financial challenges facing Carolina Athletics are significant. The new plan rewards donors who step up to meet those challenges with new and creative giving. The new plan will create opportunities for a member to improve seat locations over time-providing flexibility to meet future funding and seating challenges that may arise.
Through an equitable participation by all members, Carolina hopes this new seating process will benefit donors, and ultimately be for the good of Carolina.
