Men's Basketball Ticket Package On Sale
CHAPEL HILL—The University of North Carolina men’s basketball Tar Heel Ticket Package are now on sale. The package includes tickets for all home games in 2016-17 except the Duke game. That includes eight games against Atlantic Coast Conference opponents, seven non-conference games and one pre-season game.
Seating for the Tar Heel Ticket Package is in the upper level of the Smith Center and will be assigned in mid-September. Rams Club members will have priority in seat assignments as determined by member points, but the ticket package is available to the general public. Seating assignments will be done in the order they are received once seats for Rams Club members have been assigned.
Tickets in the package are $670 per seat. Fans may purchase the tickets at the GoHeels.com Ticket Center, by calling (919) 962-2296 or in person at the UNC Athletic Ticket Office, located at the front of the Ernie Williamson Athletic Center at 450 Skipper Bowles Drive in Chapel Hill.
Purchasers of the first 1,000 Tar Heel Ticket Packages will receive a Roy Williams bobble head. The bobble heads must be picked up in person at a home game. Details on the distribution will be announced at a later date.
Carolina’s 2016-17 home schedule includes games against UNC Pembroke (preseason game on Nov. 4), Chattanooga (Nov. 13), Long Beach State (Nov. 15), Radford (Dec. 4), Davidson (Dec. 7), Tennessee (Dec. 11), Northern Iowa (Dec. 21), Monmouth (Dec. 28), Duke (not part of the Tar Heel Ticket Package), Florida State, Louisville, NC State, Notre Dame, Pitt, Syracuse, Virginia Tech and Virginia.
The ACC will announce the dates of the conference games later this summer.
