 Thank you for joining us at Carmichael Arena. We are ecstatic to share the below information with each of you in order to ensure your Game Day experience with us is exceptional.

Under the Carolina Together Community Standards, everyone must wear masks over their nose and mouth while indoors on UNC’s campus, unless actively eating or drinking.

ADA Parking & SeatingÂ
Please know ADA parking is available on gameday within the School of Government Parking Deck. From the parking deck, a shuttle service provided by UNC Transportation and Parking will escort you directly to the Carmichael Arena main entrance for admission.. Â
Â
Pets are not allowed inside Carmichael Arena.  The University is committed to allowing individuals with disabilities the use of a service animal on campus to facilitate their full participation and equal access to the University’s programs and activities.  Further information about the University of North Carolina policy on Animals can be found here.

Regular season volleyball matches are not ticketed events and all fans are welcome in general admission seating.

ADA Seating
Seating for patrons with disabilities are available upon entry into the Carmichael Arena. As you enter the gates, please ensure to speak with an event management team member who will assist in providing chairs and proper seating. Also, please know stationed and set seats are located throughout the bowl of the concourse.Â

Bag Policy
All bags and containers will be searched upon entry into the arena by security personnel. We strongly encourage fans to leave their large bags at home, as this will reduce the wait time for entry.Â

Fan Conduct PolicyÂ
The University of North Carolina is shaped not only by our players, coaches and employees, but by our fans as well. Our goal is to create a high-energy environment to support our team while maintaining a wholesome family-oriented atmosphere. To ensure all fans have a positive game day experience, each patron should act responsibly and be considerate of others. Event management staff and stadium security will respond to complaints of misconduct. Please know Spectators are prohibited from accessing the field of play without proper consent.Â

Food and BeveragesÂ
Please know outside food and beverages are allowed inside the Stadium. In addition, concessions such as Hunt Brothers Pizza, Bojangles chicken & fries, hot dogs and hambugers.  Alcoholic beverages are not currently available for events at Carmichael Arena.Â

Gate EntryÂ
Please know Gates open to the public one hour prior to game start time. The main gate is located on Carmichael Drive facing Hooker Fields.  Seating is general admission and first come, first served, so early arrival is encouraged.

Lost and FoundÂ
During a volleyball match, please check with event management staff at the front gate. After an event, all unclaimed items are turned over to the UNC athletic evert management department. Please contact athleticslostandfound.svc@email.unc.edu.

Parking on volleyball gamedays are available within the following locations for guests:Â
- Rams Head Parking Deck ($.1.75/hour)Â
- Stadium DriveÂ
- Raleigh Road Visitor LotÂ
- Bell Tower Parking DeckÂ
Please know all lots are subject to the University of North Carolina’s weeknight parking program starting each Monday at 7 a.m. through Friday at 5 p.m. Parking can be purchased at the following link: https://move.unc.edu/parking/visitor-parking/weeknight-payment/.

Prohibited ItemsÂ
In addition to the below, all items are subject to the judgment of game management staff and may be removed from Carmichael Arena based upon safety to surrounding guests, as well as the ability of others to enjoy the event.Â
Prohibited items include, but are not limited to, the following:Â

- Artificial noise makersÂ
- BalloonsÂ
- ExplosivesÂ
- FireworksÂ
- Folding chairsÂ
- Illegal drugsÂ

RecyclingÂ
At Carmichael Arena, recycling bins (bottles and cans) and regular waste cans are set throughout the concourse for easy separation of items.Â

Smoking Policy
Effective January 1, 2008: The University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill prohibits smoking in buildings and areas controlled by the university. This meaning, smoking will not be tolerated in or within 100 feet of Carmichael Arena.Â

Stadium Layout
Named for the late William D. Carmichael, Jr. , Carmichael Arena is currently home for volleyball, gymnastics, wrestling and women's basketball teams.
