Student Lotteries
Students interested in attending football games will need to enter the football ticket lottery prior to each game. If awarded a ticket, students will receive one ticket for the selected game.Â
Prior to each home game, students will have a 48-hour window to enter the lottery for that particular event.Â
For the 2022 football season, the student lottery dates are as follows:

Late entries are not accepted, and the timing of your entry has no bearing on whether you receive a ticket or not. All entries received during the 48-hour period will have an equal chance of winning.
Eligibility
To be eligible to join student lotteries, students must be full-time, athletic fee-paying UNC-CH students. The ticket office will check your status with the Registrar’s Office prior to the start of the academic year. Students taking courses for auditing purposes (i.e. non-credit earning), on a part-time basis, or do not pay athletic fees are not eligible for student lotteries.
Student Guest Passes
Full-time, athletic fee-paying students can purchase student guest passes for select games, while inventory remains. Student guest passes will be on-sale through the student ticket account with prices varying by game and location of available seats. Students will be able to reserve one student ticket (free of cost) and purchase up to five guest passes, pending availability. Please note, that if a student purchases guest ticket(s), they are no longer eligible to receive a ticket via the student lottery for that particular game. Student guest ticket(s), along with the complimentary student ticket, will be assigned a seat location and will not have access to the student section.Â
Student Stand-By Line
Students who do not join the ticket lottery or who are not awarded tickets via the student lottery still have an opportunity to gain admission through the stand-by line outside of the student gate (Gate 5). At kick-off, all unused tickets obtained through the student lottery become invalid and will become available for UNC-CH students who have not entered the venue. Admission is not guaranteed via the stand-by line, and all students will need to show their valid OneCard or mobile CBORD ID to enter Kenan Stadium.
