Admission Policy & Access Points (Stadium Entry)
Tickets are required for all fans over the age of two years of age. The gates to Kenan Stadium will open 90 minutes prior to kickoff. We encourage fans to arrive at their seats early as the pregame festivities will begin prior to kickoff. The stadium has a no re-entry policy. More information is available at GoHeels.com/tickets.
Accessibility & Accommodation Requests
Accessible seating is available at all UNC Athletics ticketed sporting events. Accessible seating is reserved exclusively for customers with accessible needs and their companion(s). Depending upon availability, we will make efforts to ensure that seats for additional guest(s) will be located as close as possible to the accessible space. Typically for every one customer who needs accessible seating, we allow up to two companion seats. This policy ensures that we can accommodate all those that need accessible seating.
ADA Parking will be in the Ambulatory Care Center Lot (ACC) and additional information can be found below. Accessibility permits are valid in the ACC Lot and must be accompanied by a valid state disability plate, placard, or permit. Pre-purchased ACC permits presented without an accompanying state accessibility plate, permit or placard WILL NOT be honored on Gameday. Alternative parking will not be provided.
Parking permits are not valid or allowed in the parking lots prior to 8:00 a.m. Permits may be printed or displayed on the phone and presented to the attendant for scanning.
Ambulatory Care Lot Game Day Shuttle provides shuttle service from the Ambulatory Care Lot to Kenan Stadium Gates 2 and 6 beginning 3 hours prior to the game and operates until 10 minutes after kick-off.

Tickets may be purchased by calling the UNC Athletics Ticket Office at (800) 722-4335 or (919) 962-2296. Phone lines are open Monday through Friday 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., excluding university holidays. Please inform the UNC Athletics account executive that you need to purchase accessible seating at the time of purchase. Please be specific in the type of seating that you require (e.g. wheelchair, limited mobility, sight impaired or hearing impaired seating), the number of accessible seats you will need and the number of companion seats you will need.
In Person
Tickets may be purchased in advance at the UNC Athletics Ticket Office located at the Ernie Williamson Athletic Center, 450 Skipper Bowles Drive, Chapel Hill, North Carolina. The ticket office is open Monday through Friday 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., excluding university holidays.
Exchanging Already Purchased Tickets for ADA Seating – Before Game Day
Please complete the Accessibility Request Form to request an accommodation. You may also contact the UNC Ticket Office at adatickets@unc.edu or 919-962-2296. Early requests are encouraged.
Day of Game Exchanges
On the day of the event, please scan into the stadium using your original ticket. Upon entry, please make the gate supervisor aware of your need for accessible seating. At that time, you will be relocated to an accessible area. Accessibility seating is in sections 100, 112-119, and 131.
Alcohol Sales
Alcohol such as beer and wine will be sold at multiple locations throughout Kenan Stadium. Fans are limited to two alcoholic beverages per transaction. Alcohol sales will be available starting when gates open and end at the start of the fourth quarter.
Aramark Alcohol Service Policy
Aramark will no longer accept vertical driver’s licenses for the purchase of alcohol. North Carolina (NC) issues vertical minor driver's licenses for drivers under the age of 21 to help identify underage drivers. These vertical minor licenses are intended to make it easier for store owners and bartenders to determine if an individual is underage. Our goal is the is to reduce any underage drinking in the facility and the possibility of them driving. This will also make it more difficult for young adults to illegally buy alcohol in the facilities.
Banners and Signs
Signs and banners larger than 8 ½” by 11” or having content deemed inappropriate by Game Management Staff are prohibited and may be confiscated.
Bell Tower Block Party
New in 2024, the Bell Tower Block Party is a pregame fan experience at all home football games. Highlighted by the new Kickoff Club presented by Modelo and the Coca-Cola® Fan Zone, the Bell Tower Block Party will begin four hours before kickoff at every home game and will include a bevy of festivities surrounding Kenan Memorial Stadium on game day – including food trucks, games, The Ram Pen featuring Rameses, the traditional Bell Tower Walk by the football team and a host of other entertainment.
Camera Policy
Point and shoot cameras are permitted at Kenan Stadium, except for those with interchangeable lenses larger than 55 millimeters. Video cameras may only be used during pregame and halftime.
Clear Bag Policy
Carolina Athletics encourage fans to leave all bags at home, but the following items will be allowed into Kenan Stadium
Code of Conduct
The University of North Carolina is shaped not only by our players, coaches, and employees, but by our fans as well. Our goal is to create a high-energy environment to support our team while maintaining a wholesome family-oriented atmosphere. To ensure all fans have a positive game day experience, each patron should act responsibly and be considerate of others. Event Management Staff and Stadium security will respond to complaints of misconduct. Please know Spectators are prohibited from accessing the field of play without proper consent.
ACC policies always promote good sportsmanship.
Concessions
Food and drink concession stands are in all areas of Kenan Stadium providing a wide variety of products. Kenan Stadium concession stands are cashless, and accept Visa, MasterCard, American Express, Discover and Apple Pay.
Digital Ticketing
All ticket purchasers will receive their tickets via email, allowing them to be downloaded to their Apple Waller (iPhone) or Google Pay Wallet (Android) prior to arrival. Prior to entering gates, ticketholders should ensure their tickets are downloaded and available to be scanned by ticket pedestal or the hand ticket scanner at gates. It is strongly recommended to download tickets prior to approaching the stadium gates.
Disability Parking
Available for $25 (Card Only) in the Ambulatory Care Lot (ACC) off Mason Farm Road. Wheelchair accessible vans and buses are available to transport individuals to Gate 2 (North Side) & Gate 6 (South Side). A disability plate, permit, or placard is required for parking. Fans may also call-in advance to purchase a temporary disability permit for the game at 919-962-3951.

Emergency or Severe Weather Evacuations Procedures
When lightning occurs within 15 miles of Kenan Stadium staff and fans will be communicated to via Twitter, radio, and the public address system advising them of impending inclement weather. Another announcement will be made if lightning or other inclement weather occurs within 10 miles of Kenan Stadium advising fans that they may leave the stadium to seek safe shelter and may re-enter with their ticket stub when the inclement weather passes. The stadium will be evacuated when inclement weather approaches 8 miles of Kenan Stadium. Fans should follow game updates via Twitter @GoHeels, @UNCFootball, and @GoHeelsGameDay as well as the UNC Athletics Website – www.goheels.com.

Lost and Found
Lost and found is in the guest services room at Gates 2 & 6. All unclaimed items are turned over to the UNC Athletic Event Management Department. Please contact athleticslostandfound.svc@email.unc.edu.
Lost Children
Parents/guardians with a lost child should contact the nearest police officer or event staff member. The notified person will then contact appropriate personnel to ensure the quickest resolution to the situation. If a child is separated from his/her party, he/she should notify the nearest police officer or event staff member. If the child knows his/her seat location, attempts will be made to return the child to that location.

Members of the Media must request a credential in advance. Media will call is located at Entry D. All media requests should be directed to Steve Kirschner at stevekirschner@unc.edu.

Pregame Hospitality
• Turnkey Tailgating: REVELXP will offer fans reserved tailgates in premium locations including at the Bell Tower, the Amphitheater outside of the Kenan Football Center, and other locations surrounding Kenan Stadium. Tailgate packages will include tents, chairs, tables, coolers, TV media packages, local catering options and beverage services and will accommodate groups as small as five guests, up to 1,000. To reserve a tailgate location, email unc@revelxp.com, or call 919-869-5486.

Rameses Recycles
Do not forget to recycle your bottles and cans inside Kenan Stadium! Bins can be found throughout the venue and at the gates. Take your plastic stadium cups home and reuse them at your next tailgate! The tailgate recycling program has changed. Recyclables are no longer accepted in plastic bags. To recycle, please pick up a paper bag at a Rameses Recycles tent in select lots or bring your own from home. Next, bring your paper bag full of bottles and cans back to the tent. Please do not put cups or food in the recycling bags. Look out for Rameses Recycles volunteers and Tar Heel Ambassadors to help guide you! Thank you for tailgating responsibly, leaving your space clean, and helping us recycle!

Service Animals
The UNC Athletic Department welcomes trained Service Animals to GameDay. A Service Animal is a dog that is individually trained to do work or perform tasks for the benefit of an individual with a disability, including a physical, sensory, psychiatric, intellectual, or other mental disability. A Service Animal must always be under the control of the handler. A Service Animal must be leashed or tethered unless doing so would interfere with the task that it was trained to perform for the individual with a disability. A Service Animal must not show aggression toward people or other animals. A Service Animal does not bark, growl, or whine unless trained to do so as a warning sign to the handler. A Service Animal does not solicit food or other items from the public. A Service Animal’s work does not disrupt the normal course of business. Service Animals should always wear current rabies vaccination tags or provide proof of vaccination upon request. If a Service Animal is found in violation of these guidelines, the Service Animal will be excluded from the facility or event.
Service Animals in Training
In North Carolina, Service Animals in Training have the same access rights as a Service Animal. The Service Animal in Training must wear a collar and leash, harness or cape that identifies it as a Service Animal in Training. Service Animals in Training should always wear current rabies vaccination tags or provide proof of vaccination upon request. The trainer is liable for any damage caused by the animal while on UNC property. Service Animals in Training must be always under the control of the handler, must be housebroken, and must follow all behavior guidelines established for fully trained Service Animals. If the Service Animal in Training is found in violation of these guidelines, the Service Animal in Training will be excluded from our venues.
Emotional Support/Therapy/Companion Animals
Emotional support dogs, therapy dogs and companion dogs are not service animals as defined by the ADA and are not permitted.
Smoking Policy
The University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill is a smoke-free campus and thus smoking is prohibited within 100 feet of all campus venues and facilities, this includes E-cigarettes or other forms of electronic smoking.

Student Seating
The student sections are Sections 112 – 119, rows A – MM.. All students must enter through Gate 5 of Kenan Stadium, show their OneCard or App in addition to a valid student ticket. A wristband will be issued upon entry to access the student section.
Tar Heel Express Gameday Shuttles
• Chapel Hill Transit provides the Tar Heel Express shuttle service. The cost of a pass to ride the Tar Heel Express is $5 round-trip (cashless purchases only; Google Pay, Apple Pay & all major credit cards accepted). No parking fee is charged for any Tar Heel Express pick-up lot, though parking is not available at the Carolina Coffee Shop location. Buses depart every 10-15 minutes or when full. They run continuously until game time.
• The Friday Center location begins running three hours before kickoff.
• Southern Village and Carolina Coffee Shop locations begin running 1.5 hours before kickoff.
• Following the game, all Tar Heel Express buses run continuously for approximately 45 minutes.
Taxi and Ride Share
Taxi services, including Uber and Lyft may drop and pick-up passengers along South Columbia bus lane between Manning Drive and South Road.
Umbrellas
Umbrellas are not allowed to be open within Kenan Stadium.

- Any clear plastic or vinyl bag no longer than 12” x 6” x 12”, including gallon freezer bags.
- Small Clutch purses no larger than 4.5” x 6.5”.
- Necessary medical items following inspection at entry gates.
- Up to two unopened 20 ounce or smaller bottles of water per person and empty drink containers that can be filled up at drinking fountains.
- Exceptions: camera bags, binocular cases, seat cushions with pockets, and clear backpacks (if they aren’t larger than the dimensions)
- All prohibited items must be returned to your vehicles or discarded at the gates.

A Service Animal must be leashed or tethered unless doing so would interfere with the task that it was trained to perform for the individual with a disability. A Service Animal must not show aggression toward people or other animals. A Service Animal does not bark, growl, or whine unless trained to do so as a warning sign to the handler. A Service Animal does not solicit food or other items from the public. A Service Animal’s work does not disrupt the normal course of business. Service Animals should always wear current rabies vaccination tags or provide proof of vaccination upon request. If a Service Animal is found in violation of these guidelines, the Service Animal will be excluded from the facility or event.
Service Animals in Training
In North Carolina, Service Animals in Training have the same access rights as a Service Animal. The Service Animal in Training must wear a collar and leash, harness or cape that identifies it as a Service Animal in Training. Service Animals in Training should always wear current rabies vaccination tags or provide proof of vaccination upon request. The trainer is liable for any damage caused by the animal while on UNC property. Service Animals in Training must be always under the control of the handler, must be housebroken, and must follow all behavior guidelines established for fully trained Service Animals. If the Service Animal in Training is found in violation of these guidelines, the Service Animal in Training will be excluded from our venues.
Emotional Support/Therapy/Companion Animals
Emotional support dogs, therapy dogs and companion dogs are not service animals as defined by the ADA and are not permitted.
Smoking Policy
The University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill is a smoke-free campus and thus smoking is prohibited within 100 feet of all campus venues and facilities, this includes E-cigarettes or other forms of electronic smoking.

Student Seating
The student sections are Sections 112 – 119, rows A – MM.. All students must enter through Gate 5 of Kenan Stadium, show their OneCard or App in addition to a valid student ticket. A wristband will be issued upon entry to access the student section.
Tar Heel Express Gameday Shuttles
• Chapel Hill Transit provides the Tar Heel Express shuttle service. The cost of a pass to ride the Tar Heel Express is $5 round-trip (cashless purchases only; Google Pay, Apple Pay & all major credit cards accepted). No parking fee is charged for any Tar Heel Express pick-up lot, though parking is not available at the Carolina Coffee Shop location. Buses depart every 10-15 minutes or when full. They run continuously until game time.
• The Friday Center location begins running three hours before kickoff.
• Southern Village and Carolina Coffee Shop locations begin running 1.5 hours before kickoff.
• Following the game, all Tar Heel Express buses run continuously for approximately 45 minutes.
Taxi and Ride Share
Taxi services, including Uber and Lyft may drop and pick-up passengers along South Columbia bus lane between Manning Drive and South Road.
Umbrellas
Umbrellas are not allowed to be open within Kenan Stadium.
