2019-20: Finished his redshirt junior season with a 22-5 record at 157 pounds • 2-0 in dual meets • Won duals against opponents from Little Rock and American • Went 2-2 at the Midlands Championships • Placed first at the Pembroke Classic, Appalachian State Open and Newberry Open • Scored bonus points in 13 of his 22 wins

2018-19: Finished redshirt sophomore season 20-15, with an 11-7 dual record at 157/165 pounds • 2-3 in ACC duals • Injury defaulted out of the ACC Championships after a knee injury • 0-2 at NCAAs • Knocked off three ranked opponents on the season, including Bucknell’s No. 10 Zach Hartman (3-1 decision) • Bumped down to 157 pounds on December 29 against Indiana • Helped UNC clinch a share of the ACC regular-season championship with a 10-5 win over Duke’s Benjamin Anderson

2017-18: Went 8-9 as a redshirt freshman at 157 and 165 pounds • Posted a 2-3 dual record • Won his first career ACC match against Duke’s Zach Finesilver with a 5-3 decision at Brawl at the Hall • Went 0-2 at the ACC Championships • Took third at the National Collegiate Open during his redshirt year of 2016-17.
