- Graduate of Princeton High School
- Member of Team USA for modern pentathlon
- In 2018, was Junior National Champion and second overall
- Started fencing her sophomore year of high school as part of modern pentathlon
- Member of her school's varsity fencing team as a senior
- Also competed in cross country, swimming and track & field
- Majoring in neuroscience with a minor in chemistry
- Daughter of MaryAnn and Roy Oake and has as a twin sister
- Her father played football at Rutgers
