General:
Ranks ninth in UNC history in the 500-yard freestyle at 4:25.19, fifth in the 1000-yard freestyle at 9:12.26 and seventh in the 1650-yard freestyle at 15:23.23...versatile returning three-year letter-winner…has been a strong performer for the Tar Heels in the freestyle events...can also swim individual medley and the backstroke...competed this past summer in the 2002 U.S. Nationals...member of 1999 United States Junior National Team which competed in Barcelona in the spring of 1999...was coached on that team by UNC head coach Frank Comfort...swam for NOVA Aquatics...coached there by Geoff Brown.
2001-02:
Swam in the ACC Championships and an exhibition entry.
Summer 2001:
Swam well at the Southern Sectional meet...was second in the 800 free, fourth in the 1500 free, fifth in the 400 free, 14th in the 200 free and 16th in the 400 IM...also competed at the U.S. Summer Nationals where he placed 24th in the 400-meter free, 31st in the 1500-meter free, 48th in the 500-meter free and 46th in the 200-meter butterfly.
2000-2001:
Continued to be a strong performer for Carolina in a multitude of events…at the 2001 ACC Championships, he notched a lifetime best while finishing ninth in the 500 free (4:25.19) – a performance which ranked ninth all-time among Carolina swimmers...also finished 11th in the mile and 15th in the 400 I.M.
1999-2000:
Emerged as one of the more versatile swimmers in the conference…at the 2000 ACC Championships, he recorded career bests while placing seventh in the 1650 free (15:23.23) and ninth in the 500 free...also finished 12th in the 400 IM and was a member of the Tar Heels’ 800 free relay that finished second…against Virginia in dual meet competition, he turned in the ninth-fastest performance ever for a Tar Heel in the 1000 free (9:14.57)…his time from 2000 ACC Championships ranked him seventh all-time among Carolina milers.
Prep:
Graduated from Douglas Freeman High School on June 16, 1999...competed on the swimming team there.

Given name is Jeffrey Clyde Glasco, Jr....goes by “Judd”...nicknamed “Swamp Donkey”...has one brother...was born July 20, 1981...is the son of Jeff and Dawn Glasco….along with assistant coach David Weeks, he launched Carolina Swimming’s popular new unofficial web site, www.tarheelswimming.com...enjoys pro sports rivalries with teammate Stephen Mohr...says he truly enjoyed when the Carolina Panthers upset Mohr’s beloved Green Bay Packers to knock the Packers out of the 1999 playoffs and yet again this past season when the Panthers repeated the feat...also enjoyed watching the Charlotte Hornets knock the Milwaukee Bucks out of the playoffs a couple of years back...athletes he most admires are Latrell Sprewell and Ashley Tappin...biggest sports thrills were winning the 400 individual medley and the 1650 freestyle at junior nationals, making the National Junior Team and winning the high point award at the Capital City swim meet...majors in journalism and mass communications.
