Competed in nine meets, winning the 100 breaststroke five times • Posted 13 podium finishes in the 100 breast (8), 200 breast (4) and 50 free (1) • Placed ninth in the 100 breast at the U.S. Olympic Trials • Opened the fall by winning the 100 breast and placing second in the 200 breast against Auburn • Won the 100 breast and finished fifth in the 200 vs. South Carolina • Claimed silver in the 100 breast and sixth in the 200 against Virginia • Set the school record of 58.26 in the 100 breast, won the 200 breast and finished third in the 50 free at the Gamecock Invitational • Took the 100 breast at the Toyota U.S. Open Championships • Finished second in both the 100 and 200 breast versus Duke • Set a personal best and moved to No. 3 on UNC's all-time list with a 2:08.85 in the 200 breast at N.C.
