2001-02: Played in eight of Carolina’s 10 tournaments...top finish was a tie for 14th place at the ACC Championship.
2000-01 (Sophomore at James Madison): Selected team’s most valuable player...tallied three top 10 finishes and seven top 20 finishes...champion of Palmetto Invitational in the fall...also in the fall, she tied for fifth place at Penn State Invitational and tied for 14th at Memphis Intercollegiate...runner-up at NIU Springlake Intercollegiate in the spring...also tied for 19th at Bradford Creek Spring Invitational and tied for 20th at Edwin Watts/Carolinas Classic and James Madison Invitational.
1999-00 (Freshman at James Madison): Played in all 11 tournaments, posting five top 10 finishes and eight top 20 finishes...named team’s most valuable player...captured individual championship of JMU Invitational...in the fall, she placed sixth at the Cougar Fall Invitational, finished 13th at ECAC Championship, tied for 12th at Radford Invitational and tied for 16th at Michigan State/Mary Fossum Invitational.
Amateur: Champion of Delmara Peninsula Golf Association Junior Amateur and Dana Reed Memorial in 1998...medalist at ‘98 U.S. Junior Girls Championship qualifier...1999 Dana Reed Memorial champion...runner-up at 1999 AJGA Eastern Canadian Junior and 2000 Deleware Women’s Amateur.
Prep: Four-time letterwinner on men’s golf team at Dover High School...1999 Female Athlete of the Year for Dover High...first-team all-conference for golf in 1999...presented U.S. Army Reserve National Scholar/Athlete Award in ‘99...three-time member of boy’s state championship team (‘96, ‘97, ‘99)...three-time academic all-conference for golf and swimming...also swimmer in high school and played field hockey one year. Personal: Majoring in Business Administration...named to 2001-02 ACC Honor Roll...also made Dean’s List last spring...transferred to Carolina in the fall of 2001 after two years at James Madison.
