2002-03: All-ACC performer in her first year as a Tar Heel...captured the ACC Individual Championship carding a two-over-par 215 total...after posting a 77 in the cold and rainy first round, she concluded the 54-hole event with a pair of 69s in the final two rounds to post a one-stroke victory over Duke's Liz Janangelo and Wake Forest's Nuria Clau...the second Tar Heel to win the conference title since Debbie Doniger won the championship in 1992...posted six top-20 finishes and did not finish any lower than 30th in any of Carolina's 11 tournaments...in the fall she tied for 12th place at the ACC/SEC Challenge and tied for 14th at the Lady Paladin Invitational...was the low Tar Heel in five of Carolina's six spring tournaments...in addition to her ACC Championship at Salem Glen in Clemmons, she tied for third place at the NCAA East Regional, also played at Salem Glen, tied for ninth at the Bryan National Collegiate and tied for 17th at the Liz Murphey Collegiate Classic...at the NCAA East Regional, she carded another pair of 69s, this time in the first two rounds, along with a final-round 73 for a two-under 211 total...tallied a tie for 28th place at the NCAA Championships leading the Tar Heels to a 13th-place finish, their first top-25 finish since 1998.
2001-02 (Sophomore at Memphis): Named to All-Conference USA Team...selected to All-Region Team...carded seven top 15 finishes...tied for second place at Memphis Intercollegiate...finished fifth at the NCAA East Regional and at the Kiawah Island Invitational and seventh at the Conference USA Championships...earned individual bid to NCAA Championships.
2000-01 (Freshman at Memphis): Selected Conference USA Freshman of the Year...named to the All-Conference USA Team and the Conference USA All-Tournament Team...played in 10 tournaments for the Tigers...champion of the Conference USA Tournament and the Edwin Watts/Carolina Classic...posted nine top 20 finishes...tied for fifth place at the Lady Paladin Invitational and tied for sixth at the Beacon Woods Invitational and the Lady Seahawks Invitational...placed 11th at the NCAA West Regional...earned individual bid to the NCAA Championships, but was forced to withdraw after one round due to a back injury.
Amateur: Medalist at 2002 U.S. Open Local Qualifier...runner-up at 2001 N.Y. State Women's Amateur...qualified for and made cut at `01 U.S. Women's Amateur...champion of the 2000 AJGA Izzo Junior Championship...finished third at the AJGA Buick Junior Open in 2000...placed 10th at the 2000 Rolex Tournament of Champions, Scott Robertson Memorial and Metropolitan Golf Association Open.
Prep: Two-time letterwinner at School of The Holy Child in Rye, N.Y. when golf became varsity sport...first team all league selection in 2000 and honorable mention Journal News...also played basketball for four years and volleyball one year.
Personal: Majoring in Communications...transferred to Carolina after two years at the University of Memphis.
