2022-23: Competed at 125 pounds during lone season in Chapel Hill • Claimed 23 victories throughout the season • Began Carolina career with four wins at the Southeast Open (11/5) • Collected a 10-6 decision against Campbell's Anthony Molten at the Battle at Bragg (11/11) • Defeated Michigan's Jack Medley by decision at Doubles on the Diamond at Boshamer Stadium (11/13) • Earned wins over Central Michigan's Anthony Walker and Penn State's Gary Steen at the Collegiate Wrestling Duals in New Orleans (12/19) • Claimed five victories on way to a runner-up finish at the F&M Open (1/6) • Collected back-to-back major decisions against Brown's Shane Hanson-Ashworth (1/14) and Virginia's Patrick McCormick (1/27) • Defeated Pitt's No. 33 Colton Camacho (2/3) and NC State's Troy Hohman (2/17) in ACC dual action • Represented the Tar Heels at the 2023 ACC Wrestling Championships (3/5) • Earned two wins at the ACC Championships • Earned the No. 26 seed for the 2023 NCAA Wrestling Championships in Tulsa, Okla. • Went 1-2 at the NCAA Championships • Began the NCAA Championships defeating No. 7 Brandon Kaylor of Oregon State by decision
