2021-22 (Redshirt-Junior): Went 20-9 overall and 6-2 in duals for the Tar Heels • Opened the season with three wins and a second-place finish at the Southeast Open • Competed at the Wolfpack Wrestling Club Open and won four matches • Picked up his first ranked win of the season with a 4-3 decision over No. 23 Codi Russell of Appalachian State on Dec. 17 • Named ACC Wrestler of the Week on Dec. 21 • Took the 133 title with four wins at the Appalachian Open • Earned the highest-ranked win of his career with a 3-2 decision over No. 7 Micky Phillippi of Pitt • Took a hard-fought 4-2 sudden victory over No. 14 Kai Orine of NC State • Went to ACC Championships and defeated No. 19 Brian Courtney of Virginia • Qualified for NCAA Championships as an 18 seed and picked up wins over Kyle Burwick (Wisconsin) and Josh Koderhandt (Navy) • Named to the ACC All-Academic team and ACC Academic Honor Roll

2020-21 (Redshirt-Sophomore): Put together a 4-4 record • Earned a technical fall as he began his season with a score of 21-6 to defeat Todd Carter of Gardner-Webb • Collected back-to-back wins with a 5-3 decision over Mitch Polito of Lehigh (Feb. 6) and a 2-0 decision over No. 10 Louie Haynes of Virginia • Named ACC Wrestler of the Week on Feb. 16 • Notched a 20-5 technical fall over Drake Doolittle of Duke at the ACC Championships • Named to the All-ACC Academic Team

2019-20 (Redshirt-Freshman): Finished his redshirt season with a 22-8 record, wrestling a full year of open tournaments at 133 pounds • Placed eighth at the 2019 Midlands Championships, winning four matches • Defeated UNI’s Jack Skudlarczuk, an NCAA qualifier, at Midlands in a 4-3 decision • Was the runner-up at the Wolfpack Wrestling Club Open • Finished third at the National Collegiate Open

2018-19 (Freshman): Posted a 13-16 record as the team’s starter at 125 pounds as a true freshman • Finished fourth at the ACC Championships • Went 7-11 in duals, including a 2-3 ACC dual record • Won his first dual match at Appalachian State on November 25 • Won his first ACC dual bout against Pitt’s Brandon Fenton, a 12-3 major decision • Won six bouts with bonus points • Finished third at the Hokie Open at 125 pounds
