2011-12: Earned three starts at 125 and went 1-2 • Had an overall record of 2-6 for the season • Beat Joe Harris of Sacred Heart by pin in under two minutes in UNC's dual victory.

2010-11 (At UNC Greensboro): Did not compete as a redshirt freshman

2009-10 (At UNC Greensboro): Redshirted • Went 2-5 in unattached competition • Went 2-2 at the UNC Pembroke Open with wins over Steven McLeod from Newberry and John Hellinger from The Citadel • Also competed at the Southern Scuffle and Virginia Tech Open.

Prep: Earned four varsity letters at Chapel Hill High School for coach Wilson Diaz • Went 46-8 during his senior season that saw him finish second at the state championships at 119 pounds in the 4A division • Named to the all-state team after his senior season • Was a three-time all-conference performer • Qualified for the state championships during his junior year.
