2024-25: Competed at 174 pounds during second season as a Tar Heel • Earned 13 wins during the season • Went 3-0 to collect the 174-pound title at the Mountaineer Invitational (11/9) • Made college dual debut against Illinois (11/25) • Earned two wins at Southern Scuffle (1/4-1/5) • Collected five wins at the F&M Open (1/10) • Earned three-straight victories at the Appalachian Open (1/25) • Ended the campaign wrestling in dual action versus Oregon State (2/23)

2023-24: Competed at 174 and 184 pounds during true freshman campaign • Collected 19 wins during the season • Made collegiate debut at the Southeast Open (11/4) • Had a technical fall on way to runner-up finish at the Mountaineer Invitational (11/11) • Collected three technical falls and two falls at the Life U Open (11/18) • Secured three wins at the George Mason Open (12/3) • Competed in the Wilkes Open (12/22), Franklin and Marshall Open (1/5) and Appalachian Open (1/27) • Had three wins to finish third at the Wildcat Open (2/25) • Named to the ACC Academic Honor Roll

Personal/Prep: Nolan O'Boyle is the son of Tom and Cynthia O'Boyle • Has two siblings, Tyler and Evan • Brother, Tyler, is on the wrestling and football team at Franklin & Marshall • Wrestled for head coach Chris Runzo at Norfolk Academy • A four-time state placer and three-time state champion during prep career • Also earned All-America honors during high school • Voted a team captain twice during high school • Plans to study business administration at UNC
